Holly ~ 38 weeks and counting

Yesterday I went out for pictures with my friend Holly who's 38 weeks pregnant with baby #2! Her family has wicked property so we couldnt have been any luckier with the location! Holly is such a natural when it comes to taking pictures and I look forward to doing more pics with her! Here is a few from the shoot.

Orchid Exhibit - Assiniboine Park Conservatory

This morning my Dad and I went to Assiniboine Park to check out the Orchid Exhibit. It was cool cause they opened it 1 hour early for only photographers. Here are some of my shots from today.

It was so nice out this evening we took the kids to Harbour View. It was so nice being out doors and not stuck inside. We had the whole park to ourselves. It gave me a good reason to pull out the camera and test out my new lens. A 50mm 1.4 :)
If you didn't know, Declan pulled my camera with my 50mm 1.8 off the desk and it pretty much broken in two...the lens not the camera. lol I didn't know if I wanted another 50 but I'm super glad I went with. Wow, its so awesome :)

spring was here..

Well it was like spring here a couple days ago. Declan was very confused about the whole grass thing, he wasnt quite sure what to think of it.
